World Children's Day is a holiday devoted to the future generation of the country celebrated on June 1. At the same time, this day reminds us of the importance of loving, taking care and protecting our children.

In Vietnam, the first International Children's Day (on June 1, 1950) took place during the Anti-French Resistance War in Vietnam. Even when Vietnam was going through hardships of the war, President Ho Chi Minh did not forget to send his love and best wishes to children throughout the country: "I love you very much. I promise you as soon as we defeat and banish French invaders and win the resistance war, the Government, unions and I will step by step make your lives better, provide you with opportunities to entertain and study ...".

Realizing the important role of the future generation in developing and thriving of Vietnam, Hospital 199 also regularly conducts programs to take care of children with autism, scoliosis test free of charge for all children and so on. These initiatives are met with enthusiasm and support among residents of Danang city and central regions.
