As of June 8, Da Nang has passed 21 days with no new COVID-19 cases in the community and no active outbreaks. New cases mainly reported in the isolated areas.

This is a reward for Da Nang's anti-epidemic efforts in the past month. The city has made huge efforts to trace and handle outbreaks, to localize and prevent the spreading of the disease, and at the same time to implement isolation for suspected cases of COVID-19.

Da Nang's Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control added that the city is currently treating 74 COVID-19 patients. Specifically, Lung and Respiratory Diseases Hospital is treating 41 positive cases (36 cases in Da Nang and 5 imported ones); 6 of the patients tested negative for the 1st time, 12 patients tested negative for the 2nd time, and 3 severe cases.

Health Center in Hoa Vang district treated 33 infected patients in Da Nang; 14 patients got negative results for the 1st time, 11 patients tested negative for the 2nd time, and 5 patients were cured.

At the present time, the city is keeping isolated and monitored 166 F1 cases and 5 F2 cases (all F1s are in concentrated isolation areas or at medical facilities).
